| DESIGN NAME: Huixian Lou PRIMARY FUNCTION: Restaurant INSPIRATION: "Huixianlou&quo UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Leisure life in prosperous city "Small-time hermits hide in the mountains, but the real hermit lives downtown", Huixianlou is located on Beijing Financial Street, the most prosperous place in a city, and the designer wanted to create a feeling of "leisure life in prosperous city". A leisure life does not have to be found in the mountains and forests. It is a higher level to find peace in a prosperous city, such as Beijing. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Market survey, Site survey, Layout plan, Simulation renderings, Construction practices and details. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in Beijing on April 10, 2019 and completed in Beijing on December 20, 2019. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: According to themodern expression of traditional culture, the entire exterior of the restaurant is covered by a pale gray hazy metal grid, presenting a restrained, subtle oriental beauty. It is these several layers of hazy metal grids that create the most important "space" the exterior and interior. When you step inside, it's as if you are filtered and the noise of the world is left behind. The whole person calms down. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Project area: 860 square meters. TAGS: Northern Song Dynasty , subtle oriental beauty , literati landscape paintings, gourmet food, amazing scenery, beautiful utensils RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The small hall on the right is six meters high, and the video playing on the wall is a piece of art taken by the designer from the Art Basel in Hong Kong. With the surging of the fog, the whole picture changes from hazy to gradually clear, to full bloom, and then to the haze, which is a metaphor for reincarnations in the world. There is a stage surrounded by semi-translucent gauze in the air, where harp players perform every night. Consumers can only hear the sound but not see the people. CHALLENGE: The atmosphere that designer wants to create is a kind of mistakenly entering the wilderness, the garden, the study room and the Southern Song Dynasty which bring the sense of time-travel, the sense of amazement.
