DESIGN NAME: Tomorrow Casa
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Living Hall
INSPIRATION: Those buildings located in the downtown are prone to be regarded as the landmarks, such tendency results more and more invasive and environmental unfriendly buildings appear. So from the very beginning of planning this project, I kept 'environmental friendliness' as the original intention and take this core concept throughout the entire design and implementation phase.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: In the aspect of its shape, I use big stairs to take out a more welcomed impression of defense and acceptance. To meet the psychological expectation of "vision before motion", glass has been applied to more than half areas in the first ground. As for the second floor, I tried to avoid the window exhibition design method, since a community space like this living hall should encourage people to participate but to appreciate.
