| DESIGN NAME: Oaks Academy PRIMARY FUNCTION: Kindergarten INSPIRATION: The design has been inspired by the spirit of STEAM: science / technology / engineering / art / mathematics. The spirit of "DE-constructio UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Oaks Academy is located in Nanshan District, Shenzhen, China, with an area of about 500 square meters. It is the founding school of the STEAM enlightened by the brand of Peking University Shenzhen Research Institute and the only authorized cooperative institution of related kindergartens in China. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The design has been inspired by the spirit of STEAM: science / technology / engineering / art / mathematics. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Comprehensive consideration: E0 environmental protection materials and easy procurement and transportation convenience; Fire rating above B1; Reasonable budget control; High-quality structural transformation; Integration of electromechanical and structural equipment to facilitate the project The execution is effective, precise and appropriate. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The interior design area is 500 square meters, the original floor height is 4.3 meters, the structure height is 3.8 meters, the ceiling height is 3.2 meters. TAGS: Children, parents and children, education, technology, games, interaction, experience, Paradise RESEARCH ABSTRACT: In order to provide the space for children aged 0-5 education institution ,we consider the following aspects in interior design: Humanized design (child ergonomics, psychological care); Safety design (body protection, health and epidemic prevention, safe evacuation, etc.); Inspiring design (color psychology, children's behavioral psychology), actively conveys the core spirit of MAS "environment is education". CHALLENGE: At the beginning of the design, how to integrate the junior kindergarten and training courses in one space, but it can show the spirit of STEAM and become the main subject of design. Based on the different ages, under the change of the line of the same element, the combination of the ceiling and color of the cold steel plate shape leads to the sense of ritual experience in the laboratory, so that the origin of STEAM can be intuitively felt from the space.
