PRIMARY FUNCTION: Sales Center
INSPIRATION: In the negotiation area, a large area of light strips in the form of ribbon reflects the well-developing silk industry in Danyang. The floral art in glass vase forms an up-and-down echo with the ribbons.
Spectacles manufacture is another important industry in Danyang. As a city of glasses, a lot of glass materials are adopted in the sales center.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: As the property sales center in Danyang, it features the local lake scenery and displaying the city characteristics in the the entire interior space. Rippling water landscape is carved in the decoration paintings and a glass sculpture in the shape of water is made to highlight the unique waterside landscape.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: As the city flower of Danyang, sweet osmanthus is adopted as the spiritual element in the space. The chandelier in the hall with the shape of osmanthus expresses the local culture in a symbolic way. The metal stems are covered with exquisitely carved petals, which gives people a visual impact and reminds people of the smell of the city.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started on 15 April 2020 and finished on 28 May 2020 in Danyang, China.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Silk and glass are the main materials in the interior decoration, which represent the core industry of Danyang city. The lighting in the form of silk ribbon bring a mysterious sense in the space. The reflection of the glass material, just like the sunset of Danyang, interprets this intoxicating scene, which is a picture that everyone who has seen this scene cannot forget.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The sales center has a total area of 479 square meters. Each function area is seemingly independent but essentially connected to the entire space in structure, theme, light and shadow changes, as well as material texture and color applications. It starts from nature, reinterpreting the relationship between human and the future in design innovation, adding a philosophical sense to the space.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: At present, the definition of residence is no longer simply meeting daily demands, but a scene of enriching oneself, creating value, and developing spiritual life. Therefore, the traditional Chinese residence concept has once again returned to people's vision, and the sales office with this theme has drawn inspiration from the past glory and created a blended space that broadens the dimensions of life and explores self-growth.
CHALLENGE: Aesthetic sense is ethereal and difficult to be materialized, so design inheritance and optimization requires the combination of artistic conception and methods. Through sculpture and decorative paintings, it embodies the connotation of quality construction, that is, respect for the resident's inner sense of belonging, freedom, identity and personal value.
