RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Kaori read Patanjali's Yoga Sutras and study Yoga philosophy and Indian culture and art. She also tested her illustrations using a different medium to achieve the right feel for the story.
CHALLENGE: Since it was a collaboration with a writer, the artist had to imagine what the writer is imagining. But she was very open to what the artist brought to the table and worked beautifully together.
