| DESIGN NAME: Jungle Nat PRIMARY FUNCTION: Restaurant INSPIRATION: Located on a high floor, the restaurant provides a view of the sea and skyscrapers in Shenzhen, as if it is a castle in the air. Take this as inspiration, the designers plan to design the space into a thatched seaside cottage. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The relaxing and delightful atmosphere is what the restaurant would like to present in this project. Thus, the designers adopt smooth-edged white walls with concealed lights and natural materials such as bamboo and straw to reduce the feature of industrial society. Moreover, we use less types of colors and materials to make the space look simple and unadorned, as if you stay in a thatched seaside cottage. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Materials: bamboo, straw... SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Area: 200 square meter TAGS: Restaurant, a thatched seaside cottage, relaxing RESEARCH ABSTRACT: In the entrance, the black bamboos cultivate a sense of forest secrecy and the curved wall and half-hidden hallway forecasts the coming mystery. The bar counter is designed based on earthy materials, adding the natural feature of the space. CHALLENGE: How to turn the place in the busy business area into a thatched seaside cottage and provide the relaxing and delightful atmosphere to customers are the main challenges in this project.
