| DESIGN NAME: Eternal Twin PRIMARY FUNCTION: Ring INSPIRATION: The nature growing simple, just colour and simple lines to get movement and seductive expresiona and giving some dynamism and original and unique gemstones. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A 2,40 carat garnet and a 2,10 carat green garnet come together in this piece. The asymmetric position of the gemstones adds dynamism to this unique and highly personal ring from Roosik&Co.’s Eternal collection. Set between the two gemstones is a series of 0,70 carat diamonds on a sinuous band of white gold, acting as a boundary between the gemstones. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Its a minimalist ring but with a stong and thin gemstones it gaves a really strong push. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: 6 months |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: It has been using 3d software ( rhino) , printed with a 3d printer some parts of the ring and the others handcrafted to make sure it holds the unique gemstone, made of 18kt white gold, without nickel. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 24mm X 18mm x 17,2mm TAGS: jewellery RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The research was about finfing a thin gemstones capable to do a big jewel but weable, so we find this garnets cuted by slices really strong and with a nice colour. CHALLENGE: Once we cuted the gemstones, silced, we haf to do a design capable to hold the stone and do not break it.
