| DESIGN NAME: Apartment Pipa PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential Apartment INSPIRATION: The design of the pipa apartment has an architecture with a contemporary and innovative character. The solutions adopted for the project were always in accordance with the customers' wishes and respecting a classical architecture. The lightness in the project is found in the signed pieces, all with a light and modern design, without excesses. All of this reflects the standard that the firm seeks in its projects, the purity of the materials, the contemporaneity. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The apartment Kite its an apartment with a formal rigidity and finishes that in the vision of the minimalist architect becomes the basis of a contemporary dwelling. Signed Brazilian art and design pieces add a sense of belonging to the place and admire the local arts. The joy and youth is translated in the punctual colors, taking off the apartment of labels, becoming unique light and special in the context, like a kite in a clear sky. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The apartment acts as a refuge for the residents. A project that sought large and integrated environments, so that residents feel welcomed. We used some strong colors in the project so that the environments had a greater identity and youthfulness. We took advantage of the ladder, so that it stands out and becomes a focal point in the project. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: This project started in January 2019 in Curitiba and finished in April 2019. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: We used Corian technology for this project. The staircase of the project is entirely in Corian, due to the flexibility and durability of the material. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The apartment is 159 square meters. A theoretically small environment, but with the final project, it becomes spacious and pleasant. TAGS: apartment, wood, color, design RESEARCH ABSTRACT: We tried to take advantage of the apartment's original stairs, which were poorly located, and the square footage, which is not that big. In this way, we created a focal point where the stairway is located, so that residents can identify with it. We integrate the main environments, such as the living room, dining room and barbecue. In this way the space is completely unified and wide. We seek to use signed pieces to refine the environment and value local artists. All of this translates what the apartment is, a young, contemporary and pleasant space. Proving how architecture can transform environments. CHALLENGE: He found an apartment with a floor plan with well-divided environments, but with some minor problems. A staircase leading to the upper floor was poorly implanted and there is a way of relying on employees for a cosmopolitan life for the couple that makes them unnecessary. Based on the problem, we unveiled the solution, creating the heart of the project from the poorly implanted staircase, with references to great architectural works we designed a unique staircase never seen in Brazil. NAME: Ricardo PROFILE: The clients of this project are a young couple, he is an engineer and she an publicist, who aimed to have a young, contemporary and light apartment. Both are lovers of architecture, art and design. This common passion is reflected in every corner of the apartment, with works of art or pieces signed by Brazilian designers. Their idea was that each room in the apartment really had a special touch and a differential. Another common passion of the young couple is travel. With a unique wedding in South Africa, the two are lovers of the road and know new places. Almost completing all corners of the world, each piece and travel experience takes you inside the apartment. The couple's idea was clear, a light apartment, but with striking features. Lovers of wood, as the main material, and colours to give a warm and joviality to the space. |
