| DESIGN NAME: Tbilisi Design Hotel PRIMARY FUNCTION: Double Room INSPIRATION: This project is inspired, in particular, by the urban environment in which it is located. Located in the center of the Georgian capital, the interior is a representation of urban life, based on the harmony of the non-colors and the calmness of the straight lines. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The design project was elaborated for the interior of the double rooms with small surface, of a hotel in the center of the city of Tbilisi. The small surface of the room was not an impediment to the creation of a comfortable, aesthetic and functional interior. The interior was divided into functional areas, thus maximizing the space. The color range is based on the game of non-colors - black and white, these being combined with warm wood. These chromatic accents give the interior a harmonious, c OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: An advantage of this apartment is the part of the glass wall, which provides the interior with full natural light. This is supplemented with the artificial light rationally arranged to accentuate certain strategic areas. Through the general idea of design, but also through the materials used, through the decoration and lighting, the interior has acquired both urban and elegant. Comfort and functionality are obvious essential elements of this home. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The hotel is located in Georgia, in the center of Tbilisi. The design concept was realized in record time, only 12 hours. It was intended to contribute to the approval of the project for investments in the construction of the hotel. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: A contemporary interior that corresponds to the latest trends in construction. Natural wood, organic paint, marble and natural stone are the materials that give this design life. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The project presents a hotel room with an area of 32 m2, with a ceiling height of 3.2m. Part of a hotel with 51 floors, which is now under construction. TAGS: apartment, small space, residential space, urban residence, contemporary, visterniceanu, tbilisi RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The primary requirement when designing the concept for these types of rooms was to create a functional and comfortable interior, but also stylish, aesthetic and elegant. The monochromatic color that dominates the interior gives it a modern, urban character and the golden elements used at times to add a touch of glamor. As a result, the interior of the apartment is a balance between calm and comfort. CHALLENGE: The main problem and challenge was the limited space of the apartment, where anyway it was necessary to create all functional areas and equip them with furniture and decorative elements.
