DESIGN NAME: Love Thyself
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Awareness Campaign
INSPIRATION: The artwork was inspired by the royal outfits of deck cards to visualize the virtue of indulging inner psychic. The implication of such behavior enriches not only the person but also their surroundings. Loving one’s self embodies inner empowerment and lavish treatment towards inner soul. Collage is used to visualize the concept that a person does not have to be a royalty to treat himself as one.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: According to Erich Fromm, within love lies the only answer to being human, lies sanity.The campaign is created to spread awareness about the importance of self love. Treating one self as royalty is key to one's self empowerment. If a person loses loving themselves, they lose it all. Loving thyself is a term known in literature, philosophy, and religions. Inner love is the opposite of selfishness. It implies being instead of having, creating as opposed to hating. It is a positive attitude of responsibility and awareness of innersole and surroundings.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The artwork is designed to be posted in lively cities where everyone is burdened fulfilling other people's needs and forgetting to satisfy themselves with self love.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The design was inspired by classic paintings of historical art movements to emphasize the royal effect when a person love himself.
CHALLENGE: The challenge was to create portraits out of unprivileged people and apply the royal outfit to visualize the concept that everyone can be royal when embracing self love.
