PRIMARY FUNCTION: Showroom
INSPIRATION: The inspiration comes from the brand vision of blending design into daily life. The whole design doesn’t have too much exaggerated decoration, but a reappearance of real life scene.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Te Ming is a famous kitchen cabinet brand with more than twenty years of history. This project is a brand-new showroom in Shanghai, exhibiting its custom home furnishing vision.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The project design theme is adhered to the brand vision, that is integrating life into the design. Without too much decoration, the space can showcase more diversified products. The final completion result has met the expectation of clients.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in March 2019 and finished in September 2019 in Shanghai China.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The main materials include cement art paint, art brick, Italian handmade floor, black titanium brushed stainless steel and Italian slate. The large area of material contrast and colors cutting highlight the modern sense of product to the maximum.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: With a total area of 2000 square meters, the showroom creates all kinds of modern mansion to fully exhibit the exquisite bookshelf system and large living room furniture.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: As a fusion of space and furniture design, the project aims to express what a comfort home is like. The display of each simulated real-world space has become an extension and explanation of the comfort and texture of furniture.
CHALLENGE: How to balance the relationship between the furniture and space is one of the biggest challenges. Each exhibition space is both independent and integrated, and the whole space should apprear to be coherent and unobtrusive during the visit.
