| DESIGN NAME: Cadaques PRIMARY FUNCTION: Outdoor Lighting INSPIRATION: Cadaqués is the name of a village on the Catalan coast. With a Mediterranean essence, full of charm and style. It evokes the enjoyment of outdoor spaces, taking us to the warmest months of the year. Inspired by beach loungers, it boasts special features for coastal outdoor spaces, as well as its own original design. The screen is made of VERTISOL fabric, a special outdoor fabric with IMO certification. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Cadaqués is a new type of luminaire: a spacer and light washer. The shade is made of VERTISOL fabric, a special outdoor fabric with IMO (International Maritime Organization) certification that guarantees its resistance to the most adverse environmental conditions. In addition, this luminaire is equipped with protection index 65 (Ip65) against solid and liquid bodies. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: - PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in July 2018 in Barcelona and finished in August 2019 in Barcelona. The structure is produced in China and the textile is produced in Spain. To coordinate both companies for the assembly was diffocult.
