| DESIGN NAME: Hanwu Liquan 1974 PRIMARY FUNCTION: Beverage INSPIRATION: Hanwu Liquan Baijiu inherits the fermented technology of the Han Dynasty. The designer used the blue colour of the Jade from Han Dynasty as the main colour on the design. The main visual element of the design is the application of two dragons inspired by the dragon pattern style of the Han Dynasty. The design wants to express a modern and simple style. The blue glass material reflects the unique texture of the glass of the Han Dynasty. The design transfers the idea and value of the product. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: In the era of consumption, an eye-catching design style has become the core of marketing of Chinese liquor companies. Hanwu Baijiu follows the trend of consumption development and applies Chinese traditional culture and fashion aesthetics on the design. Hanwu Liqu 1974 is a brand-new product series for its company. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The shape and structure of the product inspired by the minimalist modern design. The elements of bottle design are inspired by the traditional Han culture. The designers developed the Chinese traditional element to create a modern style on the design. The design intends to show the idea of traditional culture in the context of today's era. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The bottle of the design is a transparent spray frosted glass bottle with roasted gold. The material of the cover of the bottle is metal. The material of the tag on the design is metal. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The packaging box dimension is 88mm in length, 88mm in width and 227.5 mm in height. TAGS: Craft, Bottle design, Hanwu, New Chinese style, Han culture, Jade blue RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The shape and structure of the product inspired by the minimalist modern design. The elements of bottle design are inspired by the traditional Han culture. The designers developed the Chinese traditional element to create a modern style on the design. The design intended to show the idea of traditional culture in the context of today's era. CHALLENGE: In the early stage of the project, there are problems in the control of mold removal, cap enforceability, cost control, and visual effect during the production of the bottle. In the final stage of the project, the designers solved the problem mentioned previously, the application of wood pattern on the cap help wood saving. The design achieves many possibilities to develop.
