| DESIGN NAME: The Portable PRIMARY FUNCTION: Lunch Box INSPIRATION: The catering industry is flourishing, and takeaway has become a necessity for modern people. At the same time, a lot of garbage has also been generated. Many of the lunch boxes used to hold food can be recycled, but the plastic bags used to pack the lunch boxes are indeed non-recyclable. In order to reduce the use of plastic bags, the functions of the lunch box and plastic are combined to design new lunch boxes. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This is a disposable lunch box design that is easy to pack and carry. The edges of the lunch box can be torn open to form a portable handle, which can pack 1-3 lunch boxes. The portable lunch box can reduce the use of disposable plastic bags and reduce the generation of garbage. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: After putting the meal in place, close the lid, tear along the dotted lines on the sides of the lunch box to form a handle, pack and fix the rest of the lunch box and take it away. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in January 2020 and finished in February 2020 in South China University of Technology. |

CHALLENGE: The length of the handle needs to be tried several times and needs to be coordinated with the length and height of the lunch box.
