| DESIGN NAME: Overpacked PRIMARY FUNCTION: Package INSPIRATION: Overpacking is very serious in China, especially the packaging of some gift boxes. The packaging of many gift boxes greatly exceeds their use value, and many merchants will increase the price of goods by attaching materials to the packaging of the goods in order to make huge profits. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The product packaging box I designed is a package of pastries, which is used as a gift to families with children 2 to 3 years old at the festival. It is inspired by the building blocks, and the monster's features are designed on the surface of the "building blocks". The packaging box can be recycled and turned into building blocks. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: When eating the cakes inside, the packaging box can be recycled and used as a toy for children. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in Xiamen, China in April 2019 and was completed in Chengdu, China in January 2020. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Packaging Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: - SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The size of the whole package is 240mm * 70mm * 240mm, and then it includes 4 rectangular cubes (140mm * 70mm * 70mm), 4 triangular prisms (70mm * 70mm * 70mm), and 4 cubes (70mm * 70mm * 70mm).
