| DESIGN NAME: The Audible Light PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential House INSPIRATION: Exceedingly showing the unique cultural trait of the resident, which also shows both aesthetic literacy and their life attitude; it can also become a permanent fashion space representing a new era. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Taking a bold attempt of breaking through the immutable habit of utilizing the same materials, colors, and furnishing patterns that were commonly used in living space designs.Perhaps this makes the space a bit progressive, but it is an experimental space. Instead, the space is extremely high functional in categories of the physical control of the natural environment, and the close relationship between equipment and people. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: 1. Photometric sensor Every dark areas in the living room can be lit by indirect lights controlled by the sensor at any time. There’s no need to search for light switches and turning them on and off in the dark anymore. When there’s enough light in the house, the lights will turn off automatically, there’s no need to turn them off manually. 2. Voice controller By installing hidden voice control for lights, air conditioning, sound system, and curtains in the ceiling, you can casually switch the switches anywhere without going to fixed places or carrying I pad or mobile phones around. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: With technological intelligence, the environment has better control, and is also convenient for human control. It will not cause the relatively high humidity, the aggressive damage to furniture, equipment, and clothing, and the threat to physical health, due to the climate change of the four seasons and the island-like climate. It also will not create problems such as irreparable fiber cracks caused by fierce structural thermal expansion and contraction due to the extreme hot and severe cold weathers. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 1.Carbon monoxide sensor Adjusts indoor air quality at any time and monitor the danger of gas leakage. 2.Central dehumidifier Maintains the quality of the room at constant humidity at all times, and also effectively ensure the normal service life of various equipment. It also keeps the space's various fabrics and leathers dry, preventing them from growing mold, which is harmful to the health of the body. TAGS: TheAudibleLight, Audible, Light, AudibleLight, TheAudible RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Adapting the axis of light keeps the living space away from creating dark areas due to changes in the direction of sunlight, and because the entire space is fortunately facing east, south, and west, it promotes the division of three optical axes into three parallel light spaces. Also, the interfaces between the light spaces are made of highly transparent material, so that the sunlight can pass through at any time to lead the light source to another axial space. In the daytime, every space facing the light source is bright. CHALLENGE: Using cabinets, which looked like floating light feathers, as much as possible increases the uncovered surface, they decrease the weight of the space and won’t simplify the functional requirements of each space for storage. And these floating cabinets need more structural strengthening, so they are fixed to the structure of the building to ensure safety.
