| DESIGN NAME: Glory Forever PRIMARY FUNCTION: Installation Art INSPIRATION: During the imaginary and real lines of water dance, it expressed an admiration for the beauty of nature. In the process of global modernization development, mankind has lost many views of nature, this work combines water dance with modern abstract shapes, to evoke the respect of land and mountain, to value the environment in which we living. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Installation art works can often interact spiritually with the audience during the performance, and allow the audience to reflect on their inner world to understand the nature is the most precious treasure on the planet, learn to live in peace with it and care for the ecology will be the attitude that humans should have on the earth. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: During the 2020 Nantou Lantern Festival, Glory Forever was exhibited every night, and it performed every 30 minutes once. All professional equipment is controlled by the professional and technical by Jyrfang Artwork Design's term, the Nantou County Government also set a viewing area on the waterfront, which is open to the public to watch, take photo and video, and upload them to the Internet, it was got many praise from the public. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in January 2020 in Nantou County, Taiwan, and finished in February 2020. After the lantern festival, in March 2020, this metal artwork was relocated from the Nantou County Government to the Jiu Jiufeng Art Museum. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The work made by iron structure and placed on a floating platform, with digitally controlled lights and stainless steel water dancing nozzles, the control system combines music, lighting and water dancing into a huge work on the water. The selection of completely waterproof materials is more conducive to the performance to got the great effects. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Made by stainless steel, iron, waterproof paint, H 850 x W 5000 x L 350 cm. It can display digitally controlled lighting performances, and various dance styles edited by computer programs. During the dance show, static works of art can be viewed day and night. The designer focuses on how to show the local culture and spirit in tourism activities, and tries to use the illusion of the water curtain in the process of production. The projection presents the natural landscape of Nantou, and hopes that the works will arouse the feedback and attention of the public on the natural landscape. CHALLENGE: The creative focus that the designer most wanted to challenge was how this water dance work combined with the weight, structure, weather, and performance of the water dance performance for the first time, how to bring public visual appreciation and spiritual thinking in open spaces.
