| DESIGN NAME: Yango Tanyuan PRIMARY FUNCTION: Showroom INSPIRATION: Inspired by the beauty of nature, the marble with beautiful natural texture has been adopted as one of the main materials to express the exquisiteness and layering of space. Matched with solid wood, it adds function and aesthetics in details. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This residential space features a warm living environment with artist decorations. The overall arrangement reaches to a balance between delicate life and concise space. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Based on elegant and warm palette, metal-stroke textured furniture with warm orange gives the space a light luxury element. The artistic ornaments create a humanistic and artistic living space. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project is designed in 2018 and completed in 2019. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: A large amount of wooden veneer has been used in the project. Along with the green plants in the void area, the entire effect is closer to nature. The walls adopt wallpaper and hard packs; the floor is made from marble tiles and solid wood. In addition, there are many metal and glass applied in the space. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The connection between the dining room and the sunken courtyard makes the space more open. The neutral color of the sofa and coffee table has become the main role of dialogue in the space, stabilizing the mood of the space and generating the sub-relationships and scattered spatial rhythms. Linen sofas and seats give a rustic and intimate touch experience and a sense of belonging. From white marble side tables, to tea-colored coffee tables, even to the side lines of ceiling, gold color dots among them, which becomes an embellishment in this simple space, showing the low-key sense in the overall space. TAGS: residence, showroom, master bedroom, interior design, nature RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The designer team aimed to create a quiet living space where people can find the fun of life. CHALLENGE: There is a beam in the master bedroom, which limits the ceiling. To solve this problem, the design team uses upturning beam structure to ensure the height of master bedroom.
