| DESIGN NAME: Cozy White PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential INSPIRATION: The homeowner couple who have been working abroad for many years, as they welcome the birth of their baby daughter, decided to return to Taiwan to settle down and start a new chapter in their lives. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Combined with the pure white tone, the design integrated a loft-style layout into the maisonette. It built up a light and warm daily life for the family of four. The interior applied the pure white tone to present the quiet environment and using the wooden material and reflecting glasses to create a light and warm feelings. The designers placed the spiral stairs which influence the vertical access at first. And then they adjusted the enclosed bedroom on the second floor, developing the layouts OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: In order to faithfully present the sense of Nordic life, the team adjusted the black-grey-white ratio, presenting 80% white on large-area walls, storage cabinets, and staircase structures. Through the rich changes of metal and marble, considering the lower pressure of the upper beam, it escaped the indirect lighting and Sealing board method, bare stucco texture modification, others with warm wood floor, black elements and glass mirror masonry. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: With the visual proportion of black, grey and white. They presented 80% of white color on the large area of walls, the storage cabinets, and the stairs structure. It was decorated with metal and marble materials to perform the well visual balance. The designers considered the beam would put stress on the sense of space height. Without usual indirect light design and ceiling board design, this project applied the concrete texture to decorate the beam surface. The whole space was combined with the warm wooden flooring, black elements and reflecting glasses to build up a comfortable environment. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Special coatings, iron parts, glass, woodwork, carved white marble, imitation stone tiles, mirror surface, super wear-resistant wooden floor. TAGS: Loft ,Nordic Style RESEARCH ABSTRACT: In a rapidly changing society, people are often overwhelmed by the flow of information. The owner shared with us, seeing the completion of the home little by little, and every step with a fresh and anticipating mood After the children move in, they especially like the sight of space and penetrate each other. They can always find where the parents are. Fun and interesting penetration configuration in the space, making the relationship between parents and children more harmonious Here, let natural daylight be your day's strength, pure white and wood, and easily return to the scenery of nature The pattern is open and not limited, and there is no barrier between family communication. The simple and temperature-saving method is the unique home experience that the Nordic architecture team hopes to bring to this home. In the next 10 or 20 years, this family will be written, and there are endless stories and wonderful life stories. CHALLENGE: The case has excellent lighting on both sides. The team abandoned the old staircase design connecting the first and second floors and replaced it with a space-saving rotating circular staircase to restore a high and bright view. Stable round iron pillars stand between them, spreading upwards with a white ring-like structure like a ribbon, carefully considering the actual use of safety, in addition to using slender lines to reduce the load, and staggered use of flat iron and round bars to wrap, to keep children walking safety.Because the male owner is relatively tall, he especially calculates the height and size of the wooden pedals, strengthens the stair structure that is stable and easy to move, and makes the round ladder have both safety and aesthetics.
