| DESIGN NAME: Huai'fu Experience Center PRIMARY FUNCTION: Interior Design INSPIRATION: With water as inspiration,starting from the canal lifestyle, the designer extracted the elements of fishing nets, fishing gear and lake surface with ripples and waves for the refinement with modern techniques which perfectly integrates the canal civilization and modern civilization, respects the regional landscape and creates harmonious coexistence between architecture and nature. The spirit of Chinese literati for thousands of years is conveyed by the draw of pure Chinese architectural spirit. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project is located in Huai'an City, Jiangsu Province with a construction area of 1735.36m2.The developer hopes to forge an experience center with Chinese rhyme here and re-create the charm of canal culture in the east, draw the fun of oriental elegance, conceal the gentleness, cultivation and delicate life. The designer perfectly combines the culture of the canal with the modern culture; refine the classical Chinese elements to create a more suitable Chinese lifestyle for modern people. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The space generatrix is applied with the method of three entries for Chinese buildings to present its functional layout, perform the oriental space charm with modern technique and texture and dislocate the rich oriental beauty without being aware of. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Main materials: Ancient wood stone, tundla grey stone, silver pear wood, wood grain aluminum sheet, yellow bronze. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: - TAGS: - RESEARCH ABSTRACT: We respect geographical features and hope to forge the harmonious co-existence of buildings and nature. The mountain and the stone form a garden, the flower and the wood create the shadow in the light. By the draw of pure Chinese architectural spirit, the Chinese literati’s spirit for thousands of years is conveyed with the modern technique. CHALLENGE: 1. Estate sales offices of Chinese style are everywhere, how do we stand out? The largest feature of this project is the application of international view and modern techniques for the expression of Chinese style which performs the visual feast of Chinese style with the language of art. 2. To use the modern techniques in a limited floor height and complicated structure for the creation of a space quality full of Chinese lingering charm is the largest challenge in the process.
