PRIMARY FUNCTION: Electric Scooter For Sharing
INSPIRATION: Personal Mobility is gaining worldwide attention and is seen as next-generation mobile transportation. However, the popularity of the personal mobility vehicle is underwhelming in terms of safety issues. Thus, we have developed the tourism sharing model with improved safety feature through repackaging and battery development.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: For Two’ is a mobility device for tourists and the locals of the cities popular with tourism. Solve environmental problems and traffic jams caused by traditional transportation method such as rental cars and provide unique eco-friendly mobility experience. For Two’s strength is not only limited to the fact that it is an electric vehicle but also the use of EOA (Energy-on-air) battery which is far safer and environmentally friendlier than the traditional lithium-ion battery in terms of disposal.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: ‘For Two’ is a rental product at tourist destinations, allowing tourists to use the existing user's messenger to inquire, obtain information and rent more easily instead of installing new apps for the service. The vehicle has a built-in navigation system which provides the maps and guidance system to the user’s destination. In case of the technical problem, the vehicle has a function to guide to the nearby vehicle for the replacement. Once it reaches its destination, the user is guided to the payment options on the built-in screen. It increases user accessibility and provides convenience by using built-in navigation instead of using specialized app.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: A three-wheeler structure is far more approachable and very easy to use compared to the traditional electric scooters. The support function for smooth cornering makes ‘For Two’ very fun to drive. The built-in GPS allows the vehicles to be easily manageable. Users can also easily see the location and distance when replacement is needed through built-in navigation. The battery uses an Energy-On-Air (EOA) battery to drive long distances and time. Unlike lithium batteries, it has been developed as a battery suitable for tourist models, which also increase safety due to the lack of explosion risk.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The current personal mobility devices such as electric scooters in tourist destinations are only suitable for short-distance travel.
Also, the traditional mobility vehicle did not consider being used for a two-person ride, and some of the models trying to solve this issue by converting the vehicle with additional saddle-mount. However, this conversion is still not suitable in terms of the safety issue. “For Two’ is specifically designed for safe two-person use.
CHALLENGE: The biggest obstacle for us is to find what the customer experience is like when it comes to using personal mobility vehicle in a tourist destination. We tried to find a way to improve the personal mobility vehicle by using the current vehicle at the tourist destination, as well as interviewing the tourists and tried to reflect their opinions. Multiple driving tests were performed to improve the safety of the three-wheel structure. after the prototype was built, the wheelbase was adjusted while driving the test-track, and suitable tilt function is equipped to make sure safe driving.
