Interview with Wang Zhiqi at Saturday 2nd of May 2020 FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design? ZW: Dominated by architectural interior design, C'YISHU combines piano education with the concepts of Ruler and Sense of Space, aiming to build itself into a studio of diverse spaces for design, piano, coffee, and furniture. FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve? ZW: We have finished the customization of the unique symbol for C'YISHU, and by filling in the auxiliary graphics representing multiple business forms, the logo is an overall and systematic visual symbol instead of a simple logo. A variety of graphics accomplish the production of a rich, complete and unique brand system, easy to remember and spread. FS: What is the most unique aspect of your design? ZW: We have been weighing the use of different graphicsto represent corresponding business forms, making repeated trials on the use of stripes of various thickness and gradient, and trying to obtain the effect of detail control as desired.
