Interview with Simone Mantovani at Wednesday 1st of May 2019 FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design? SM: The main idea is to provide a perfect space for a bold style of life. FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve? SM: The focus was the family living, their day to day pleasure on experiencing comfort, light, get-together, modernity. FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept? SM: About four months. FS: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration? SM: Pursuiting an inspiration is part of the process. The concept was the result of desires, expectations, experience, conditions and so on. FS: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean? SM: The shape. FS: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project? SM: Experience. FS: What is the most unique aspect of your design? SM: Light, light, light.
