Interview with CHIH-YUAN,HUNG at Wednesday 15th of May 2019

FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
CH: The integration of all possibilities in materials, the owner's life experience, budget, and craftsmanship into a beauty experience is the most important attraction for me.

FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
CH: What I care about is always a space that clearly conveys an intention, a new understanding of the relationship between people and space.

FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
CH: this museum will become the curatorial space for antique glasses

FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
CH: 2 days

FS: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
CH: With the dismantling of spatial geometry, we hope to make different suggestions for the way in which general jewelry is displayed.

FS: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
CH: no

FS: What made you design this particular type of work?
CH: With the dismantling of spatial geometry, we hope to make different suggestions for the way in which general jewelry is displayed.

FS: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?
CH: carlo scarpa & oscar niemeyer

FS: Who is the target customer for his design?
CH: antique lover . Craft and culture lovers

FS: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
CH: Detailed light texture and understanding of space

FS: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
CH: The continuous advancement of crafts and materials in history, everything about glasses is changing. Under this premise, only the way to understand light is the core value. the sense of vision is how we define this .

FS: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
CH: modeling . a lot of modeling

FS: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
CH: Every light texture change in space, and beautiful exhibits in it

FS: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?
CH: yes. In addition to the team's professionals who specialize in space design, we also collaborate with museum experts, antique appraisers and other professionals.

FS: What is the role of technology in this particular design?
CH: Dismantle the most subtle emotions and present them in a spatial way

FS: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?
CH: All relevant research comes from my own understanding of life.

FS: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?
CH: Insufficient experience in my life .

FS: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
CH: Share our inspiration with the world

FS: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
CH: Constantly working hard and practicing constantly

CH: no
