Interview with AYANE SATO at Wednesday 27th of March 2019 FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design? AS: I draw between reality and non-reality. FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve? AS: I wanted to make a picture book and publish it. FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design? AS: My future plan is to work with illustrations and picture books. I want to spread it all over the world. FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept? AS: It took more than half a year. FS: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration? AS: I chose to pursue inspiration. The illustrations were drawn very naturally. FS: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself? AS: My design will be used by other companies. FS: What made you design this particular type of work? AS: To make a picture book.
