Interview with Jianhe Wu at Sunday 5th of August 2018 FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design? JW: The house image, the HOME image were our main ideas to keep children understand the best thing in their life were started from the Home. FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve? JW: Keep children's interests and cultivate creativity were our main ideas to make this design better. FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design? JW: We hope we can design more better spaces for children. FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept? JW: 4 months FS: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration? JW: The concept started from a House shape, but it started from their parents's love. FS: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself? JW: This is the only and first design project in this area. FS: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work? JW: The other designer helped us to check the construction process. FS: Who is the target customer for his design? JW: The parents who have children (1-6 ages) FS: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts? JW: There's few opportunity to design a project like this, since they bought a building and made it a fun house for children and parents only. FS: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean? JW: Fun house, keep children feel fun and regard this area as a home. FS: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project? JW: BIM(Building Information modeling)
