Interview with Liu, Chun-Hui at Friday 24th of March 2017 FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design? CL: The main idea is the definition of the early spring, and the change from winter to spring. FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve? CL: I want to realize the four functions of life in one space. FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design? CL: Keep the faith of seasonal cuisine and seasonal design. FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept? CL: About four months. FS: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration? CL: I pursuit an inspiration of seasons, and a space of nature. That is where the beings born. FS: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself? CL: My own production. FS: What made you design this particular type of work? CL: It is from the inspiration of seasonal cuisine. FS: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts? CL: I put the concept of moving time in a still space. FS: What is the most unique aspect of your design? CL: The operation of design is named "Between The Limitation." we break the original boundaries of rooms. Based on a traditional Chinese character "回", we make the different life functions connected and create the fun of life. It includes the free movement of outdoor, and the easy of the routes.
