Interview with Gurleva Marina at Tuesday 23rd of February 2016

FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
MG: The main principle a minimalistichnost in everything, identity of an interior, combination of a dream and reality

FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
MG: The sense consisted in naturalistically convincing illusory transfer of the impossible

FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
MG: new interesting projects

FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
MG: the project was projected within 6 months

FS: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
MG: To the customer it was offered to some those for design, the choice the lobby, bar, a corridor, 5 two-storeyed aqua zones in space design of an intereer, the 3rd floor restaurant with elements of an art deco, konferen-halls in classical style, author's hotel rooms thematic interiors of Bordeaux, Tequila, Champagne, Whisky stopped 1 floor

FS: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
MG: It is design the ordered project is used by the company

FS: What made you design this particular type of work?
MG: It is a complex of a new format in our city

FS: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?
MG: Interior design razrabotvatsya personally by me

FS: Who is the target customer for his design?
MG: For business and family rest

FS: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
MG: To combine the incompatible

FS: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
MG: The name of LYNX club was offered Customers, means "lynx" a wild cat who always achieves the object. On a plan of owners of club, in its territory long-term partnership has to be entered.

FS: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
MG: The insignificant strokes hinting at infinity of the Universe, a reconstruction of feeling of zero gravity

FS: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?
MG: yes I cooperated with people with technical and specialized skills of dl of an embodiment of this project

FS: What is the role of technology in this particular design?
MG: All finishing materials, furniture, lamps were selected taking into account fire and technical and sanitary conditions

FS: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?
MG: For our city and the region it is a complex of a new format

FS: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?
MG: difficulties weren't

FS: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
MG: I saw the invitation for participation in competition

FS: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
MG: A lot of work for search of necessary finishing materials, furniture, lamps was attached

FS: Any other things you would like to cover that have not been covered in these questions?
MG: Each detail in club works for idea of boundless opportunities of the Universe
