Interview with Praxis d'Architecture at Friday 29th of January 2016 FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design? SP: Our design begins with identifying characters of the physical and cultural context of the site, and drawing inspiration from it. FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve? SP: The design lasted for two years because there had been constant program and functional changes to the project. The design process was to calibrate the proportion between the artist residence and the exhibition spaces functionally and between being private and public in terms of the building's formal expression. FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design? SP: If this project wins an award, it will be great honor for both our clients and our design team.
