Interview with Caesar (Hyongho Park) at Wednesday 20th of April 2016 FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design? HP: Ergonomic. Always main principle of my design is human and it is where my every idea and inspiration begin. FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve? HP: I focused on efficiency of how it works and comfort for people who will be rescued. FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design? HP: Nothing has been decided yet, but soon or later I will do re-plan. FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept? HP: First it's inspiration comes up 2 years ago but I did not have enough knowledge or skill to make the idea real. FS: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration? HP: I decided to pursuit on my inspiration by myself. FS: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself? HP: This work is only for my team, not for other companies. FS: What made you design this particular type of work? HP: It has very long story but mainly I was interested in safety for human since I was very young and I guess this interest made me design this type of work. FS: Who is the target customer for his design? HP: Fire fighters; Real heroes/heroins among us. FS: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts? HP: There was nothing similar with this concept because not many people think items for firefighters.
