FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design? SD: My future plans for Tekant is to start selling it. FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept? SD: Actually when I started to design Tekant I draw a lot of chair and creating prototype with metal wire, and finally a day before my deadline the final design appear in my head. and I think it was like 2 months FS: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration? SD: The concept of the structure becoming the main part of the chair was because I have to use Metal rods, so I search for inspiration in many things until I saw a book of structures. FS: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself? SD: Right now I am producing it by myself and selling it, but I am open to talk to companies to make a larger production or selling it. FS: What made you design this particular type of work? SD: When I was searching for competition of design and ways to enter in the real world of design after finishing my degree to start getting a name in design. FS: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
