Interview with DarlieLau at Friday 8th of May 2015 FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design? TL: The DAX stock index is transformed into three-dimensional images, and aims to explore mathematics behind the formation of the aesthetic rules. FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve? TL: The main purpose is to project into the future forms of craft, design classics and redefine the concept of luxury in the context of standardized production. The Project gives insight into the practice of contemporary design production, points new tendencies out and presents upcoming 3D and Product trends. It offers exhibition space for the presentation of new design objects and acts as a space for communication and critical reflection. FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design? TL: I really this Design can be mass-production by a Famous Furniture company. FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept? TL: It's about 2 years. FS: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself? TL: I really this Design can be mass-production by a Famous Furniture company. FS: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work? TL: It's all done by myself.
