AP: Approximately 9 months in total. It was an interresting as the design was done in colaboration with Elijah who lives in Dubai.

FS: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
AP: I have a passion for futurism and I have collaborated with the Studio YORB DESIGN www.yorbdesign.com on various projects. Kids tableware was one of the project we had discussed and which was in need of attention. I saw a lot of opportunities.

AP: Nyx Kids tableware is a collaborative design between a talented designer and a 10 year old child name Elijah. As adults, we have learned to set limits and bounderies for the real world. Alex, the designer started to think and dream like a kid which resulted in aesthetic and playful tableware.

FS: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?
AP: The shapes had to be function and had to work with food placed on it. I had to combine beautiful curvy shape with a design that was functional
