Interview with Yu-Ngok Lo at Tuesday 20th of December 2011 FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design? YL: Experimenting the use of material and formal express of temporary structure. The project focuses on the recycle-ability of building material and modules. FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve? YL: The goal was to incorporate simple industrial materials into architecture through a unique methodology. I believe that the modular quality of shipping containers is ideal for this particular application. FS: What made you design this particular type of work? YL: thinking of green and sustainable structure, especially temporary structures.
