Design Rankings and Ratings
A' Design Award and Competition publishes, promots and supports several design rankings all with different aims, different sorting algorithms and different target audiences. Mainly, the A' Design Award and Competition, publish eight major rankings and ratings, available to public audiences. These eight main rankings platforms are as follows : World Design Rankings (which lists ranking of all represented countries), R+ Designer Rankings (individual rankings of designers i.e. the design hall of fame), DAC - Design Classifications (category/industry based rankings), Popular Designers (based on impressions and popularity), Brand Design Rankings (merit based rankings focused on brands, that takes award year into consideration), Design Leaderboards (concurrent ranking system with a higher emphasis on recent achievements), World Design Ratings (design honorifics and ratings based on repeat achievements), as well as the A' Design Award Winner's List which sorts the winners in the current year. In this page, we provide a short introduction to these rating and ranking systems yet further details are available.
