| DESIGN NAME: House Mr Zen Style PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residence INSPIRATION: A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step. - Lao Tzu, Chinese Philosopher. House Mr has the split level floor plan to achieve maximum value in a small footprint. The hanged over dining room accommodates pilots on ground level where can be used for parking lots.The central stairs connect each room so that people feel each space more than the actual area. The central Zen style Patio provides us to natural light into each room and modest privacy in compacted city location. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: l.e.a.v.e.s Living, Enrichment, And, Volume, Efficient, Solution. The leaves design concept is an effort to upgrade all elements in a house to the premium level by introducing a volume efficient solution, creating a socially and ecologically sustainable urban house model, anticipating the best quality of life. We hope that the leaves will lead to the future innovation in the urban life while a small house footprint however containing large volume and spaces full of architectural pleasures. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: House Mr has the split level floor plan to achieve maximum value in a small footprint by the steel flame structure. For example, the center stairs join the living room and dining room with comfortable distance. The kitchen is located in the center of the house so the owner can feel the whole atmosphere from the entrance to the Japanese Tea room around the center garden. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: For example, the owner can change wall lines between Room 1 and 2 on the upper floor, according to the family member and their lifestyle. Our life is changing continuously, and architects should provide the best lifestyle solution to owners. Architecture, whether it be a small house for a single family, is the accumulation of this fundamental work process, outweighing all elements of purpose, scale, method of construction, or structure.
