| DESIGN NAME: Lodz Young Fashion PRIMARY FUNCTION: Calendar notebook INSPIRATION: The calendar was created for a special occasion, which is the Lodz Young Fashion International Competition for young designers, organized by the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz. It was created as an element of communication and promotion of the LYF contest in the world, being a gift for journalists, participants and guests of the event.The inspiration for its creation was the energy of young, creative people taking part in the event. The metallic cover and fluorescent colors of the medium are the answer to the fascination with new technologies and light. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The calendar is designed for a year. It starts from the date of this year's competition event and ends on the date of the next competition (October 2018 to October 2019). Weekly calendar with a lot of free space for notes, the ability to paste photos and stickers and to create new projects. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: It has the character of a personal journal. Its idea is to accompany participants and fans of the competition throughout the year. It counts down the days to the next contest, which binds people to the concept of the event. Promotes the LYF competition and the Academy of Arts in the world. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Printing technique: 4 pantone offset printing. Blind embossing - logo on the front. Cover - metallised paper SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: dimensions, Width 148 mm x Depth 210 mm x Height 15 mm TAGS: Calendar, notebook, printing, fashion, young, lodz, mirror, art RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Calendar meeting the expectations of the customer who has received an unconventional calendar, introducing the recipient to the world of fashion, design and art. CHALLENGE: The calendar uses interesting paper with interesting print and specially selected pantons, a metallic cover with original dry embossing presenting the logo of the event and its streamlined shape obtained through rounded corners, the calendar stands out and refers to the world of fashion, all these elements emphasize the artistic dimension of the project. NAME: The Strzeminski Academy of Art Lodz PROFILE: The Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz is a higher education institution for all those who would like to enter a profession in the field of fine arts and design. The Academy’s six faculties offer 8 courses and various art and design majors, including nationwide unique programmes in fashion design, jewellery design as well as theatre, film and television techniques.
