| DESIGN NAME: Shaoxing Tanyue PRIMARY FUNCTION: Sales Center INSPIRATION: The project takes the flowing water and floating cloud as the design inspiration, delivering the unique atmosphere of the Jiangnan area known as the water town in China and filling the space with elements of the form of running water. It also emphasizes a sense of depth of space, adopting special materials to create applicable functional areas. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Scattered on the sides of the main visiting route, we use the transparent glass bricks to distinguish the negotiation area and the restroom. Here, the glass is taken as the water in nature, which is pure and alive and can stimulate the imagination of viewers. The entire glass brick echoes with the subtle changes of the environment, integrating with the space, where the restroom seems to be invisible in this artful layout. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The sales office is designed for helping customers to know better and deeper about the newly constructed buildings and houses. They will see the overall construction plan of the buildings here and can get in touch with sales managers if they have any questions and can make the purchase of houses here. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project is located in Shaoxing City, China. It takes about 2 months to finish the construction. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The project uses special materials such as glass brick and waterstone. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The project covers an area of 401 square meter. TAGS: modern, glass brick, waterstone, nature, RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Located in Shaoxing City, which is known as the water town in China, designers integrate its understanding about the culture with the geographical characteristics of the location. CHALLENGE: Shaoxing City, which is known as the water city in China, therefore, designers use special art works with shape like stones in the stream in the project.
