| DESIGN NAME: Hong Kong Key PRIMARY FUNCTION: Exhibit INSPIRATION: The messages to be delivered for the project is indeed very substantial and informative. Instead of using the raw space on the ground only, I would want to present them by making use of the air space for displaying and delivering the key messages meaning business clients and partners around the world can experience Hong Kong's excellence in the infrastructure sector and its significance in the Belt and Road Initiative, in very different perspective. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Featuring Hong Kong's excellence in the infrastructure sector to newcomers/investors and experiencing Hong Kong's significance to the Belt & Road initiative, strong visual elements and interactive features are the fundamental design concept of the Belt and Road Summit 2017 Signature Display - a combination of modern design and technology. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Alongside with the 30 more exhibitors, the Signature Display, with its raw space of 63sqm, was the featured area of the Summit. The whole concept of the Signature Display was inspired by the energetic idea of "going beyond the boundaries and exploring new opportunities - Hong Kong is your choice." The installation of floating objects and interactive stations not only allow more ground space for traffic, but also provide eye-catching visual and interactions so that participants could receive the highlights of key themes smoothly and efficiently. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project was exhibited in Belt and Road Summit 2017 in September 2017 at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Hong Kong. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: 1.) 3 sets Huge LED panel hanging from ceiling, each is 3500mm(w) x 2500mm(ht), 2.) 6 sets 3D lightbox color lettering hanging from ceiling. 3.) 2 sets 50 inch mult-touch screen table for present message SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Display area is Width 9000mm x Depth 7000mm x Height 5500mm. TAGS: Dynamic, Energetic, Fascinating, Impressive, Innovative, Informative RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Research showed that 40 more international speakers, 3,000 more government officials and business leaders covering various countries and regions would participate in The Belt and Road Summit 2017. Over 30 organizations representing the sectors of banking and financial services, infrastructure development as well as professional services would showcase their services strengths or investment opportunities. Over 190 organizations were in support of the Summit and its stakeholders, journalists, press would also participate. Traffic could be one of the concerns. CHALLENGE: The challenge is that within 63sqm raw space, we have to, at one time, catch hundreds of audience at their first sight and deliver substantial information to them in a short breaking time.
