| DESIGN NAME: Shenzhen Yatai Medical Beauty Clinic PRIMARY FUNCTION: Medical Beauty Hospital INSPIRATION: Inspired by the belief of the design team, the entrance is designed as an opening door. Furthermore, understanding that visiting a beauty hospital sometimes can be stressfu, one of the main focuses is to create a relaxing environment while also maintaining the professional image. Every section has a feel of its own with individual attention lavished on each single element. All of these elements chosen reflect the class of its professional design and added a gentle and modern atmosphere to the clinic. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Everyone deserves a new beginning, therefore, the entrance is designed as an opening book, symbolised that this is the place where they can turn their life into a brand new page. The design team has focused on a stylish, graceful, and homey atmosphere, which differed from the traditional icy feeling of a hospital whiles also create a place where the customers will immediately understand the belief and value upon arrival. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The lightings are specifically placed around to maximize the sense of spacing, as well as a warm pleasant sensation. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The design phase of this project started in December 2015 and finished in April 2016, the construction finished in August 2016. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: In the waiting lobby, colorful elements are included for a sense of lighthearted feeling. On the other hand, in the medical room, less color is applied to elevate the image of professionalism and cleanliness. For the resting room, the idea is to create a homey feeling where the customer can rest and recover. Large windows are installed for natural lighting as well as a warm pleasant feeling. The thoughtfully planned interior further enhanced by the specifically placed lights and related decorations. Lights are precisely placed in designated area to create a comforting sentiment. Throughout the clinic, decorations are specially chosen to create a gentle and modern sensation. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 10,448 ft square TAGS: Interior, Beginning, Homey, Professional, Elegant, Warm, Stylish, Clinic, Beauty, Clinic, RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The design and theme of this project are based upon the request and communication between the client and the company. CHALLENGE: The client has specifically requested a design that differed from the traditional design of hospital. They wanted their beauty hospital to have a homey feeling and reflect their belief and value while maintaining professionalism. Therefore, the design team has carefully chosen different colors to represent different feelings. For example, colorful elements are included for lighthearted feeling while some places have less color in order to elevate the image of professionalism and cleanliness.
