DESIGN DETAILS
DESIGN NAME:
Servvan

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Robotic vehicle

INSPIRATION:
The car has ceased to be a means of transport. It is a luxury to own it and stand in traffic jams or car to stand somewhere in the street as a pile of iron. In my project, I do restore the original idea of the car as a means of transportation and increase its efficiency by rethinking of values and use it in everyday life by 100%. I was also inspired by a technocratic system of governance An image is based on a car Russo-Balt 524-55 Monte Carlo Rally.

UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Service or a rental car, having unmanned control. Vehicle is symmetrically, that makes it cheap to produce. It has a four swivel motor- wheels, and the possibility of reversing motion, that in complex it makes maneuver with large dimensions. Boarding vis-a-vis improves communication of passengers. Vehicles are combined into a single system, so they can communicate with each other, which increases the efficiency of transport of passengers, as well as an increase in efficiency due to the movement in the road train.

OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
There is a huge fleet of these vehicles. Cars must be ordered through the Internet when it comes to unplanned trips. Then the car drives up to the house and takes passengers to the destination. If this vehicle is as a service, the car rides on a certain route and takes the people in that place and at a specified time to deliver the people. Thus, the vehicle is in constant use.

PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
The project started in september 2012 and finished in february 2013 in Moscow.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
Docking of vehicles is managed by a system of magnets interacting with on-board computer, which determines the trajectory of the movement and position of vehicles. Motor-wheels can be the most common. The wheels in project are as in a project Hankook Mag-trac. Doors are opened by hydraulic or pneumatic actuators. The vehicle's screen can be made of polycarbonate Exatec technology 500, and it also can be divided on two parts by structure in the form of fracture between the vertical and horizontal surfaces to provide rigidity. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES:
Overall dimensions: 1900mm x 5400mm x 1550mm Angle of the seat back: 28 degrees, as in large luxury car ("H-point") Max. angle between the vehicle when turning: 45 degrees Diameter of the wheel: 80 cm (31,5 inches) (Size may be another)

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
Market research by the example of Russia is in PDF file. On the basis of economic research based on the collection of material from various internet sources concluded that the robotic vehicle is necessary for modern life. Especially technologies allow it to produce. According to Google, such a system will also contribute to: 1.Reducing the number of road accidents by 90%. 2.Spend less time and fuel on the way to 90%. 3.Reducing the number of cars by 90%. This creates a completely efficient vehicle.

CHALLENGE:
The design of cars ceased to be a design. Design in a modern automobile serves as a stylistic rather than functional, as it was originally intended. Efficiency of designer sank. The aim was to make the most simplest, clear intuitive vehicle without unnecessary and frivolous lines, as is done now BMW, Mercedes, Citroen and all other automakers seeking to get monetary gain, but not to solve global problems.
