| DESIGN NAME: Dongguan Riverside PRIMARY FUNCTION: Sports Center INSPIRATION: The purpose of the project is to create an urban highlight in which the landscape space echoes the characteristic cultural riverside shoreline and green cultural and leisure corridors.This project hides the building under the greenery, resembling a green hill. The air link of the project base is agile and elegant like a ribbon dancing in the wind. The facade of the building is twisted and stretched with horizontal lines, and the seemingly flowing Milky Way flows slowly. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project is located in Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, China, in a new urban area. It is a sports center that integrates residents' cultural activities, healthy sports, and livable waterfront life from multiple perspectives. The project focus is to activate the vitality of the city and reshape the spirit of the site, the facade design of the project adopts international modern style, and uses the aesthetic sense of architectural lines to reflect the sense of future, flow and technology. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: A sports center that integrates residents' cultural activities, healthy sports, and livable waterfront life from multiple angles. Turn the green-covered sports center into a natural oxygen bar on the corner of the city. It integrates fitness, sports, parking, and transportation hubs into one. The building volume is reduced, the landscape is integrated into life, and the design is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project is located in Dongguan City, Guangdong Province. It started from 2021 to the present and is currently in the conceptual stage. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The facade design of the project adopts international modern style and uses the aesthetic sense of architectural lines to reflect the sense of future, flow and technology. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The project is located in Xincheng District, Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, China, the covering an area of about 17520 square meters, the project scale is 19510 square meters. Covering an area of about 17,520 square meters, it is part of the industrial city integration urban renewal project. Designer Peng Xiaohua hopes that it will be different from the pure display demonstration area landscape in the traditional sense, so that the park can truly light up the urban waterfront life. CHALLENGE: The key to hiding buildings in greenery is the compatibility between buildings and greening. According to the geographical location of the project, it is located on the bank of the river. The waterproof and moisture-proof performance of the building during construction is a major difficulty.
