The U World

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Community Center

INSPIRATION:
Between the home and the city, Shared Space acts as an important transitional territory, a key place to show and reshape urban living style.

UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The project is located in Shenzhen, China. In The north, it leans on a large mountain ecological park, with a superior natural environment, potential regional development, and convenient transportation. The project will become a city-shared living hall that integrates reading, coffee, family fitness, social activities, sightseeing, and other composite functions.

OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
1.Shared Cultural Experience Space:This is a space with the theme of reading and also a social platform with coffee experience as the carrier. 2.Sharing Healthy Living Space 3. The design of parent-child space creates an interesting place for parent-child interaction activities such as baking, painting, performance, animation theater, and so on.

PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
The project started in December 2020 in Shenzhen and finished in August 2021 in Shenzhen, and was opend in Shenzhen in August 2021.

Interior Space and Exhibition Design

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
The art installation above the step reading area is made of illuminated geometric polygonal acrylic splicing, like a river in heaven and a silver bay in dawn. The reading area will undoubtedly become a mecca for its literary style.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
With the continuous deepening of the concept of healthy life, fitness, as one of the important forms of active healt", has received more and more attention from people. The boundaries are appropriately set within the constraints of the building structure of the original underground space, while the continuity of the space can be felt by visiting along the corridors of the space.

We hope between the home and the city,a Shared Space acts as an important transitional territory, a key place to show and reshape urban living style.
