| DESIGN NAME: Code Titanium Alloy PRIMARY FUNCTION: Smartwatch Face INSPIRATION: The inspiration is from the material: titanium alloy. Such material conveys the sense of future as well as the elegance. Besides, as the material of a watch face, it suits both business and casual purpose very well. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Code Titanium Alloy is an smartwatch face that tells the time via a feeling of the combination of postmodernism and futurism. It uses different forms of dots and patterns as a metaphor to keep the layout organised, guide the user experience, meanwhile, is also a dominant way for the futuristic style. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The design is already released on Facer app. Go to Facer app or website (https://www.facer.i PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in January 2021 in Singapore and finished in February 2021, and is released on Facer app in February 2021. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: It started with a random graphic pattern when I was trying to make a modern looking background. After a few attempts, one of the patterns caught my attention, then it became the background pattern of this watch face. Combining with the highlight effect, it shows a very good match of the look of titanium. So I decided to import it into watch face layers. After a few times of choosing the suitable font. The design direction was confirmed. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The dimension of this design is 400 x 400px on Android watch, 360 x 360px on Samsung watch. It supports both round and square smartwatches. TAGS: futuristic, postmodern, elegant, business, casual, informative, golden, silver, alloy, titanium, premium, innovation RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Nothing much about the research. The idea just came out suddenly from some graphic patterns. At that moment, I had the feeling of making it a futuristic watch face.
