Confirm & Manage Translations

Home > Control Panel > Translate > Manage

Below, for each of your award winning entry, you will see the “Yearbook Descriptions”. For each award winning entry, first you must confirm your “English Translation”. Edit and confirm translations one by one. Before confirming your English Translation, we highly suggest you to get help from a native speaker who could check and paraphrase it according to our guidelines, because all foreign translations will use your confirmed “English Translation” as a basis. In addition, once the foreign translations would be ready, you will also be able to see them in this page and you will have chance to override foreign translations as well. Furthermore, you are suggested to provide translations of your project into your native language. To add further languages click on the "ADD Translation" text below your design.

Guidelines: Your text must use formal-language suitable for press distribution. Description of the work should be presented in third-person narration. Simple Passive Tense must be used when possible. Your translation must be between 400 to 600 characters i.e. around 70 to 100 words. Ensure there are no typos: Remember to spell check using text editors. Even if your English Translation is correct, we suggest you to paraphrase or simplify it if possible. Paraphrasing and simplifying the English translation text could help translators to make accurate translations. During simplification, divide long sentences into multiple shorter sentences. If your description includes “Poetic & Sensational Elements!”, “Rhymes”, “Wordplays”, “Puns”, “Clever Rhetorical Excursions”, ”Oddly Formed Sentences”, “Ironic Statements”, or any other similar content that is hard to translate to foreign languages, please replace them with simple English. Especially avoid using “jargon”, “slang” and “idioms”.

You do not have any awarded entries. The translation service is only for award winning works. Once you have award winning works, please visit this page to have them translated into other languages.
