| About & History: Mostly renown as the villa in planet Naboo in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones, where Anakin kisses Padme for the first time. The villa has a very nice, well maintained garden with exceptional view of the lake and mountains. You can take a guided tour to learn about its history (the tour takes an hour). There is no coffee or bar, so make sure to drink or eat before you arrive or you could also enjoy a fine lunch in Lenno. What is also remarkable is that to arrive to the Villa del Balbianello you will indeed enjoy very beautiful sightseeing, either by boat or by car, you will enjoy finest Como Lake landscape. |

Open Hours & Days: It is best you check on their website, not open all months, when open, it is open on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. From 10 am to 4-5 pm. |
| How to Reach: To go to Villa del Balbianello, you need to go to Lenno first. You can reach Lenno by car (about forty minutes) or you can take the boat from Como to Lenno (this takes about one and an half hour), afterwards once you can walk to Villa del Balbianello or there is even a smaller taxi boat which takes you from Lenno (highly suggested). |
Nearby: If you travel by car, there are many little towns around, and there is especially Isola Comacina which you might want to discover. |
