Mosca Partners is based on the passion for design of its founding partners Caterina Mosca and Valerio Castelli, who have many years of professional experience in the sector. The adventure began in 2011 induced by a desire to enrich and promote the culture of design – to spread innovative new ideas by curating exhibitions and organizing events, intended not only for those with a professional interest in the design industry but also for a much wider public of enthusiasts. Wherever they are held, these events provide opportunities for cultural exchange on an international scale. To achieve these results Mosca Partners chooses quality projects by companies and designers, with a particular emphasis on innovative or thought-provoking ideas, and pairs them with inspiring locations that work in synergy with the contents of the exhibitions to promote not only the work on show, but the territory itself that is hosting the event. After a careful selection process, some of the most important European schools of design, many young designers and start up companies take part in Mosca Partners events along side internationally renowned architects such as Kengo Kuma, Michele De Lucchi, Mario Bellini, Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel, Marcio Kogan, Patrcia Urquiola, Francis Kerè, Diller Scofidio+Renfro, Asif Khan and Pezo von Ellrichshausen (who took part in the most recent edition during Milan Design Week 2019) that have created remarkable installations in collaboration with some of the most important brands in international design.
