Mr Siu Kwok Kin Stanley, the designer of the award winning project Wishing Pavilion says “Commissioned by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Wishing Pavilion is a festive architecture designed for 2019 Mid-Autumn Festival, one of the major festival in Chinese culture. The design inspired by the unique custom of the burning tower in Southern China and reinterpreted into a double helix structure.
