WeiCheng Deng, the lead designer of the winning work Life explains “During the use of a pencil sharpener, the generation of crumbs can feel redundant. He designed the way of the pencil sharpener as a circular closed-loop time progress bar. Insert the pencil and rotate it gently. Discarded waste is loaded like a progress bar.
