Wei Tong Chen, the creator of the award winning design Nature Meishan says “Surrounded by luscious nature, the 40-year-old house was given a new purpose to become a shelter for modern-day humans. With the help of sleek lines of concrete, soothing wooden furniture and soft pieces, the building was presented in a crisp yet gentle light. The team made the bold decision of moving the staircase, giving way to a clearer and more fluent flow on the site and subsequently bringing forth a space where guests could immerse themselves in rustic, unembellished nature.
